Dimly remembered pleasures of summer:
- Standing barefoot in long grass and feeling it tickle the top of your foot.
- Reading under trees and not shivering.

Forgotten pleasures of summer:
- Itching all over from wearing sunscreen.
- The foulness of humidity.

fondly remembered:
- the smell of fresh-cut grass in the dry wind on a hot day

best forgotten:
- peeling burnt skin off your neck in long strips
- scraping beach sand out of your asscrack
- waking up in bed with a visible outline of sweat around where you slept

can't wait :)
